Five indicators. One decision flow.

The LP Desk organises context, levels, session windows and futures position sizing. It does not replace your plan, your prop firm’s rules or your decision.

What is the LP Desk for?

The LP Desk brings together five TradingView modules to answer four questions in order: what is the context, where is price located, which window is active and what exposure remains compatible with your parameters. The modules structure analysis; they do not produce certainty.

Practical use

A control desk, not a signal box.

The suite is intended for futures traders who want to make their parameters visible before the order without delegating the decision to an indicator.

The Desk may be relevant if you want to…

  • centralise session levels instead of multiplying charts;
  • separate context, timing and risk before any entry;
  • make sizing reproducible from entered parameters;
  • use indicators as analytical aids rather than automatic orders.

The Desk is not suitable if you are looking for…

  • a stated win rate or a payout promise;
  • autonomous signals without an invalidation plan;
  • guaranteed compatibility with every platform and prop firm;
  • a replacement for the economic calendar or official rules.
Desk architecture

Five modules, five distinct responsibilities.

Each module answers a specific question. This separation reduces the risk of confusing context, trigger and position management.

Module 01 · Context

Risk Regime Dashboard

An intermarket overview designed to qualify the environment observed before the session. The dashboard combines several variables instead of turning one change into a signal.

  • view several configured assets and variables in one dashboard;
  • visual states for comparing favourable, neutral or stressed environments;
  • thresholds and calculation windows adjustable to the market being studied;
  • context view separated from the execution chart.

Limitation: an aggregated regime is neither an entry point nor a forecast. The symbols, data feeds and parameters used must be verified.

Module 02 · Location

Session levels

A view dedicated to horizontal reference levels used in intraday analysis: session extremes, prior-day levels, open, Initial Balance and VWAP depending on the selected configuration.

  • Globex and RTH references displayed with consistent naming;
  • prior-session levels and current open;
  • Initial Balance calculated over the configured window;
  • session VWAP and optional bands depending on available data.

Limitation: a level is not guaranteed support or resistance. The session, time zone, contract and data must be configured correctly.

Module 03 · Timing

Sessions and time windows

A visual display of the market windows configured on the chart. The aim is to see the active session and the periods when your plan requires extra caution at a glance.

  • configurable Asia, London and New York windows;
  • caution windows displayed on the chart;
  • countdown linked to events entered in the module;
  • reference points expressed in an explicit time zone.

Limitation: this module does not replace an official economic calendar. The time, nature and importance of a release must always be checked separately.

Module 04 · Risk

Position Sizer

A visual calculator combining stop distance, minimum price movement, point value and entered risk budget to estimate a number of contracts.

  • read symbol information exposed by TradingView;
  • enter stop distance in price or ticks depending on the configuration;
  • risk budget and internal limit defined by the user;
  • pre-trade estimate with no connection to execution.

Limitation: the estimate must be checked against CME specifications, fees, possible slippage and prop firm rules. The tool sends no orders.

Module 05 · Relative reading

Gold/Silver Ratio

A relative reading between gold and silver designed to contextualise a precious-metals regime. The module may combine ratio, normalisation and configurable historical windows.

  • ratio calculated from selected symbols;
  • z-score and percentiles based on a configured lookback;
  • visualise the relative contribution of both markets;
  • alerts when user-defined thresholds are crossed.

Limitation: the ratio alone does not justify a position in GC or SI. Contracts, expiries, data feeds and market conditions must be examined separately.

Decision flow

The order of the questions matters more than the number of indicators.

The Desk is designed to prevent a common mistake: calculating size or looking for an entry before checking context and time constraints.

Qualify

Observe the intermarket regime without automatically inferring a direction.

Locate

Place price relative to session levels and the structure defined in your plan.

Verify

Check the active session, economic calendar and your account rules.

Size

Estimate exposure from the stop and verify each value before execution.

Compatibility and data

What a tool can read. What you still need to verify.

TradingView exposes minimum tick size and point value through Pine Script, among other information. You must still verify the symbol, contract, data feed and applicable rules.

Frequently asked questions

What to verify before using the modules.

The answers distinguish Desk functions, official TradingView capabilities and points that depend on your configuration.

What is the LP Desk for?

The LP Desk groups five TradingView modules to organise four decisions: understand context, locate levels, control timing and calculate risk before the order. It does not predict the market or execute orders.

Do these indicators guarantee passing a prop firm evaluation?

No. No indicator guarantees a result, payout or LIVE transition. Futures involve leverage and risk of loss. Prop firm rules and execution discipline remain decisive.

Which Pine Script version is used?

Current TradingView documentation covers Pine Script version 6. The exact version, requirements and any LP Desk migrations must be confirmed in the access terms when subscribing.

How does access work on TradingView?

TradingView allows authors to grant access to invite-only scripts. The LP Desk process requests the member’s TradingView username, after which access is managed under the active offer’s terms.

Is a market-data subscription required?

It depends on the symbols, data type and your TradingView subscription. Script access does not replace market-data entitlements or features of the selected TradingView plan.

Does the Position Sizer send orders?

No. It provides an estimate from entered parameters and symbol information. You must verify contract value, stop, fees and account rules before any execution.

Are the modules compatible with every prop firm?

No universal compatibility is claimed. A prop firm may restrict platforms, data, hours, instruments or certain practices. Its official rules always take precedence.

Does the Sessions module replace an economic calendar?

No. It can display configured time windows, but it does not replace consulting an official economic calendar or verifying a release’s exact time.
